PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING OF THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) WAITING LIST
Charleston-Kanawha
Housing Authority (CKHA) hereby announces the opening of the Housing
Choice Voucher (Section 8) Waiting List, effective September 1, 2026.
Applications
will be accepted for all family sizes. At this time, applications must
be submitted on paper. Paper applications may be obtained at CKHA’s
main office, located at 1525 Washington Street, West, Charleston, WV
25387. Applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00
a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. For a list of what documents must be summited with your application, click here for a full checklist of required documents and instructions.
